By Plane
During the summer Pucon airport has direct flights from Santiago on LAN & SKY Airlines. Pucon airport is on International Road, only 5 km. from the center of the city. It is accessible throughout the year, and Maquehue airport in Temuco is located only 112 km. away.
By Bus
Buses depart for Pucon daily from the surrounding cities. Departures from Temuco are every half hour, while from Santiago bus companies provide daily services.
By Car
Pucon is accessible by three main routes: from the north of Chile via the Panamericana Highway (5 Sur); from Santiago or Concepcion - passing through Temuco, Freire and Villarrica - along a paved road that borders Lake Villarrica; and from southern Chile, Puerto Montt or Valdivia, passing through Loncoche and Villarrica. All roads are paved and in good condition.
Argentina is accessible from the neighboring cities of Bariloche, San Martin de los Andes, Villa la Angostura and Junín, the International Pass through Mamuil Malal being open all year.
